You are buying Great genuine historical item Rare to find M1916 "Infanterieschild" (german) WW1 German Empire army infantry shield a.k.a trench / sniper shield Was designed during the war to defend the snipers in trenches. Heavy steel, edged to prevent ricochets. All hardware are present: moving visor (hatch), hook and leg. All perfectly working. Has a battle damage: bullet small point (not broken, but has small dent and crack, metal is strong, will not break easily) Also, its a little bit bended (you can see in photos) Weight: 13,750 (KG) Size: 60x45 (CM) Found in Latvia, in the places of battleground and trench war between Germans and Russians. Original battleground relic. The back side has some white winter camouflage paint left. So it means it was used in Winter battles.
