WONDERFUL Antique Silver Arrow, Fred Harvey Sterling Silver & Turquoise Bracelet

Description: Wonderful antique/vintage Fred Harvey, Silver Arrow Co. hand-crafted sterling silver and turquoise thunderbird stamp work cuff bracelet. This is a beautifully detailed example of Fred Harvey jewelry. This delightful cuff bracelet is 3/4” wide, 5 1/4” around the interior PLUS a 1 1/2” gap for a total wearable length of 6 3/4” and it weighs 11.2 grams. It can be carefully opened up or squeezed down to fit a larger or smaller wrist, if desired. This bracelet has a 3 mm round, genuine turquoise cabochon bezel set at the center of an applied, stamp work thunderbird element from which extends a plethora of wonderful stamp work detail across the exterior of this bracelet, including rain clouds, arrows, sun, etc. While this bracelet is not particularly heavy, it is quite sturdy and well made and is in very good antique/vintage condition with no damage other than minor, age appropriate surface wear and oxidation. It is out of round to a degree, which is very common with these older cuff bracelets, but this can be fixed in a minute or two by any bench jeweler, usually without heating, if desired. This bracelet is fully hallmarked by the Silver Arrow Co., which was active in the late 1920’s and 1930’s and made Native American style jewelry for the Fred Harvey company with whom they were in business. Their jewelry was sold primarily along Route 66 in the New Mexico and Arizona area. This cuff is a particularly nice survivor and has many years of use left in it. It is also stamped “Sterling” and has been professionally tested as solid sterling silver.
