Blade measures 7”. Full tang with loop hole. Overall length is 11”. Oval brass hilt. According to the Scagel book by : James R. Lucie. The handle is made of leather and the spacers are from Jumbo’s hide . The knife in the book is the same as this one here with much more discoloring and wear . No sheath. The history of the knife is shown in the book about “Jumbo The elephant knife”. the knife was named after him by Scagel . This is a true piece of history by the Legendary William Scagel handmade forged knives, and do not come up very often. Knife is solid and in antique good condition for its age. Book is NOT included.
