Description: Good vintage condition. The jacket has been repaired on the back fishtail as seen in photos. One of the bottom grommets was lost in action and a stitched repair is in its place. One of leather hood drawstrings is missing. Wrist fabric is frayed. General wear consistent with an item of this vintage that may not be listed. No significant flaws that I can see considering the vintage. Please see photos for complete details and measurements. The liner attaches with buttons at the neckline, along the zipper placket, and 2 buttons at each wrist. All wrist buttons are intact and the liner attaches nicely. Two deep front lined pockets snap closed. Top of jacket has epaulets and hood and fishtail have drawstring. Size Large. Parka shell about 35" long. Chest width laid flat 24"Sleeve length 21.5" This M-1951 in a hard to find size. Nice example with the cotton/nylon blend fabric as well as wool Frieze liner. Not waxed canvas.
