Description: Vtg. Fuller Brush Table Tidy Crumb Sweeper w/ Original Box - 1950'sBox is missing the end flaps and overall isn't in the best condition. The crumb sweeper however is in very good clean working condition.The Fuller Brush Company was founded in 1906 by Albert C. Fuller who used his sister's basement and $375.00 and a wire twisting machine to get started. He then went door to door selling his brushes. Later a building in Hartford Ct. began the big operation during the 1960's. In the early 1970's the company was bought out after Alberts death and moved to Kansas. They also had a few other plants. In a large glass case in Hartford was a large stuffed Boar that represented the Boar hair used in some of the original brushes. Fuller Brush Company is still in business today, which I just learned. I suggest googling the Fuller Brush Co. and watching the video as it is very interesting. This Table Tidy Crumb Sweeper is greater than 65 years old.
