Description: This is most likely a scarf from the 1930's, with it's Art Deco style lettering which is beautifully and exquisitely hand-painted on the black sheer silk. The latest I'm sure would be early 1940's. If you're a "Jessie", here's a chance to get sump'n personal for your accessories section of your closet. It's in very good shape for a sheer fabric this old; I didn't try to overly stress/stretch it and it has stayed intact. There are already a couple small small stress spots to it where unfully developed holes have started to appear but they are not all the way through.
