Description: Empty cardboard box with paper overlay for Lerner Shops, all with a Christmas theme. Box measures 6 1/2" x 5 1/4" x 3/4" and except for some very minor corner wear, it is almost mint. The red color really stands out. Only one like it on ebay. Founded in 1918 as Lerner Shops by Samuel A. Lerner and Harold M. Lane in New York City. Samuel Lerner was the uncle of lyricist Alan Jay Lerner. Based on name changes, my guess is that this box was used before 1985. Other than that, it is hard to tell its date.
