Description: vintage,14 1/2'' German,peg-jointed,37 cm. Grodnertal wood & gesso doll.Very lightweight,painted wood.I think there is also gesso used as seems apparent in some areas that have scratches or missing paint.peg-jointed at shoulders,elbows,hips & knees.spoon type hands & feet like boots.Joints move freely. stands approx. 14 1/2'' or 37 cms. high.weighs approx. 152 gramsmany signs signs of age,use & wear.Some knocks & bangs with loss of paint.Left foot looks as though it has a crack that has been overpainted & possibly other areas (nose?) have been over painted.Please study pics. to determine condition for yourself.Thanks.
