Description: This comes from a former estate jewelry dealer's inventory; research online indicates it to be a Native Ameriacn fetish necklace with 20 animals in assorted carved stones and abalone spaced by heishi beads, with a carved turquoise eagle shaped pendant. Some fetishes are birds, most coyotes/dogs, but one intriguing toad included! One figure, alas, has one end chipped off. The rest appear excellent - the bird/eagle turquoise pendant in particular appears well worked. Necklace fastener marked silver. Total length 25 inches.
