Description: Vintage WWII 137th Infantry 2nd battalion Kellogg TS-9-K Hand Crank US Army Field Phone. This was part of my late stepfathers collection of WWII memorabilia in which he was a paratrooper 82nd airborne in Germany and his close friend was in the 137th in Germany also. I was told this radio was used in Germany during the war by his close friend but do not have documentation to certify, as the rest of his collection is the same to only what I have been told years ago. Regardless this is a piece of history, being used by the 137th infantry. I am retired myself now and decided to let this one go if it sells. The handset shows wear by the toggle but there is no cracks in the handle. The handset cord is in very good condition, the battery was removed long time ago so no corrosion inside the unit. The case is a thick canvas, one side strap is broken by the hand crank but otherwise complete with snaps and good shape. Selling this phone to be authentic including its original case but untested as-is.
