Description: Vintage Metal Atlas Wiper Blades Thermometer This pre owned Thermometer measures approximately 15" x 9 1/4" The condition of this thermometer is in very nice original shape minus the front glass The colors are still very bright Without fading or serious wear It has Not been cleaned or touched up at all There is No wear or distortion around the mounting hole It is Not perfect as there are a Few minor imperfections and the pointer is slightly bent ( see photos ) but over all it's surprisingly nice The thermometer does seem to work and changes temperature under different conditions ( I won't swear to it's accurately though ) It's a great thermometer to add to your collection ! I remember carefully removing this and several other unusual signs out of an old store building (1883) about 45 years ago This very long term multi generational store finally closed in 1965 and was left untouched until about 1978 or 9 when I was allowed inside The glass was already broken when I discovered it so I didn't bother to pick up the pieces I kept this one for a long time but now it's time for it's next caretaker - It could be you at this reasonable price !
