Description: I have for bids, a USA Rawlings Mickey Mantle MM5 “Professional” baseball glove, manufactured in mid 1960's Glove is in excellent condition, showing very little use, aside from a few light marks, with no rips, tears, holes, cracks or owner’s ink. All leather is soft and pliable. All stampings are dark and easy to read, and all leather lacing is in excellent condition. Piping and Rawlings patch are in excellent condition, as well. All metal eyelets are present and secure. Notice that the pocket was conditioned with glove oil from the previous owner. The inside is in excellent condition, with a full leather lining, having no rips, tears, holes, cracks, or chaffing. Feels great on the hand!! Glove is 60 years old. Mickey Mantle played from 1951 to 1968, all for the New York Yankees. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974. Mickey Mantle gloves, made in the USA, in this nice of condition, are very difficult to find. Glove is a great baseball collectible. Picture of Mickey Mantle comes with glove for display.
