Description: This textured clear art glass vase, which has no color on it, has design features that were used by both Timo Sarpaneva and Tapio Wirkkala, who both designed for iittala, which produces its glass products in Finland. The collar of glass on the rim is very similar to some vases designed by Sarpaneva. The texured glass area is also very similar to that used by Wirkkala on his Finlandia series of glassware, including the Finlandia Vodka bottle, along with the bubbles or pearls at the top of the textured area of this vase similar to that also used by Wirkkala on a pottery vase he designed for Rosenthal. It is in like new, never used condition being free of any damage or signs of previous use. The photo makes the vase look like there is haze on it but it's perfectly clear except for the texturing on the surface. I ship glass packaged in bubble wrap and surrounded with styrofoam packing peanuts in the shipping box.
