Description: ~~Vintage Replogle Globes Inc. 12" World Classic Raised Relief USSR Made in USA.~~ This is a Replogle Globes Inc. 12" World Classic desktop / tabletop globe that is in pretty good condition, especially when you consider that it's about 45 years old, but does show definite signs of age with a few very small blemishes.The original metal stand and ring that holds the globe shows a lot of natural wear and tear and signs of age from use. It has a nice vintage look to it as you can see in the photos. All of the continents are raised relief. You can see and feel that they are raised. This globe was made in the late 1970's, and still has the words, "Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR)" on it. The Globe itself measures 12", but the Globe with the stand measures 15 inches Tall.
