Description: Vintage PAUL CARDEW 'HARLEQUIN' SCARED CAT, from the COOL CATZ series. Delightful cat figurine in bone china, from Paul Cardew's Cool Catz series, comprising a range of designs including Paisley, Art Deco, Egyptian and Harlequin. Each design was produced in four poses (sitting, stretching, sitting with paws crossed, and scared) and two sizes – the larger 'Catz' and the smaller 'Kittenz' – all perfectly capturing the essence of feline poise and elegance. This is the red Harlequin design, in the 'scared' pose, with 18ct gold highlights. Small (Cool Kittenz) size; height approximately 13.5 cm; length from top of front paw to curve of tail approx. 13 cm. Base of figurine still with original label, as per photos. In excellent condition. All items being sold are my own, or from friends and family, given to help with the upkeep of rescued animals in my care. Please note that I use recycled packaging wherever possible. I do combine postage on multiple purchases.
