Description: Vintage Earthenware Navajo/Navaho Tribe Native American Pottery hand painted/engraved signed Catherine Willie Vase, excellent condition with minimal signs of use, and no repairs. Bottom of base has a couple of scratches on paint, and one nick near signature (I believe from the time of manufacture). Beautifully crafted vase for display of dried flowers, or on it's own because of it's unglazed nature. Technique involves engraving designs into surface of terracotta clay after it's been painted. Colors range in hues of blue and grey against the contrasting warmth of southern American terracotta clay. Measures 7” high X 7.5” at the widest point. Weight before packaging is .92 kg.
