I have not cleaned this helmet w/ any chemical solutions.The shell was lightly brushed / dusted then wiped w/ a damp terry cloth towel.I have given the liner a very light & careful brushing w/ a soft horse hair brush.It is still quite dusty but much better than found.The leather is worn but original.
