Description: Nicely crafted vintage brass tobacco jar, canister, or tea caddy, from Castilian Imports, India. It measures 7 1/2" tall which includes the lid and finial and the ball feet. The oval base is 5 1/2" x 3 7/8". Very nice hammered brass features several raised monkeys cavorting on leaf branches. The lid is pebbled and includes a finial top of a monkey with baby on its back.
