Description: This vintage platter is ready to become part of the functional decor on your holiday table. The hand-painted blue finish is pleasing to the eye and could even be used as room decor if you wanted to hang or display the platter. The platter is just under 19" long and 14 1/2" wide. The rim rises ~ 1 3/8" above the base. There are a few chips in the platter, but almost all are not noticeable when viewing straight on. There is a chip by the talon of the turkey's foot. Additionally, there are eight small chips around the rim, 6 are clustered together in one spot. On the back of the platter, there are two spots of wear in the glaze on the outer rim on the widest points, likely from having been hung on a wall for display. Also, there is a small chip on the raised rim around the base. All of these are highlighted in the pictures. While I've highlighted a number of imperfections in order to be completely transparent in the listing, I do want to reiterate that most of these are not noticeable without searching for them.
