Vintage lapis blue glass 10 MM heart beads or drops

Description: Aren't these lapis color vintage glass heart beads just great? These beads came from an old jewelry company that was in business from 1915 to 1945. The blue in the picture is brighter than they appear in person, and there is some variation in the shades of blue among the beads. The hole goes through the center of the top of the bead and out the point on the bottom. The widest part of the bead is 10mm so you can see that this is really a nice size heart to work with. It can be strung as a bead, or you can put a headpin in it and make it into a drop. These are cute hooked onto a chance in multiples as an earring. In the early days beads were strung on strings and stones were packed in paper, so they may have rubbed against each other and have very, very tiny nicks. Some of the foil may have rubbed off the back of some of the stones, but we do try to send you the best possible. I usually throw in an extra stone or bead, just in case there is one that is not quite perfect. We sell old stock that has never been used, but it is never going to look like brand new or imported items.
