Description: For your consideration, I have a Vintage Wood Sewing Box with an unusual design - it is held together w/ 4 dowel rods. This has been refinished and is in very nice condition. There are no nails (except holding the dowel rods on the doors) or glue - the only thing holding this all together are the dowel rods in each end. It all fits together like a puzzle and can be taken apart easily. There are 8 pieces plus the four dowels. It is 11-1/2" x 13-1/2" and is 9" tall (to top of handle). The original owner had put some caulk around the seams inside (I guess to keep pins from falling through but I took that out as it was not needed to keep the box together.)
