It has the usual dents, scuffs, scrapes, etc. consistent with what one would expect of normal usage. There are no cracks, no breaks, no owner's marks. Japanning is excellent and only missing in a couple of spots, notably the top edges behind the front tote.Blade looks like it has never been honed. The cutting edge has various dings that would need to be honed out prior to use - I have resisted the urge to hone it and leave it to you to decide on the angle etc. Please examine the pictures carefully to fully appreciate the item on offer.
