Vintage Classic 1960s Modernist NE From Denmark Sterling Silver Brooch Pin

Up for sale/auction is an iconic 1960s modernist sterling silver pin by Denmark designer Niels Erik From. It is minimalism at its best and would be perfectly at home with a little black sheath and an Eames chair. Much prettier than these photos. This was a toughie to try and get good images; done in both natural daylight as well under bright lights. The brooch measures approximately 2” wide by 1” tall. It is smooth silver without detail. It weighs 11 grams. Condition: Very good to excellent pre-owned/worn condition, with expected surface scratches and tarnish to a piece of jewelry that is 60 years old. The pin stem may be slightly curved, but it is original and fits perfectly into the locking clasp. No damage that I can visualize. Your jeweler can bring this piece to a high polish if you so desire. What condition are these pieces in: These items are all vintage, antique (older than 50 years), or from a secondary contemporary marketplace. As such, there will be scuffs, scratches on stones and metal, visible use, sometimes slightly bent ring bands or clasps or rings that need attention. I will do my best to photograph these or point out any issues. Please review all photos prior to bidding. I leave the patina on pieces, especially with oxidation. If you would prefer something to be shinier and polished before it is mailed, please contact me and I will use an industry recommended product to hand polish, although it may leave a slight odor that can easily be removed by you with rinsing in water with gentle detergents.
