Description: This is a vintage CASE 6265 SAB DR SS “Folding Hunter” pocket knife. The tang stamp is CASE XX STAINLESS USA 8 dot 1972.The knife is 5-1/4” closed with brass liners and pinned oval CASE shield.The blade steel is stainless steel.Both blades have strong snap, no wobble.The handles are jigged Pakkawood (rosewood) with no cracks or damage.A mint knife - never used, sharpened, or carried, original factory finish and edges. This is a scarce knife, as 1972 was the first year that Case offered the 6265 in stainless steel, and it was not widely distributed until the late 1970’s.Included is the vintage Case “pumpkin” box shown in the photos.
