Description: This is a vintage Case 6308 “Split Backspring Whittler” pattern pocket knife. The tang stamp is CASE XX USA 7 dot 1973.The knife is 3-1/4” closed with nickel silver liners and pins. Pinned oval CASE shield.The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.All blades have strong snap with no side to side wobble.The bovine bone handles have amazing red color, no cracks or damage.The blades were never sharpened, each has the factory finish, factory edge with some surface tarnish on each blade.Bolsters and backsprings have light rub marks.
