Description: Vintage circa 1980 Chelsea key wind Limited Edition run of only 750 clocks (this one is marked #456) Presidential Stateroom ship's bell clock - 20887 with box. This clock appears to be new and unused, the plastic cap (fits over the winding arbor and prevents the minute hand from moving) to prevent the clock from running during shipment was still in place when I purchased it. The only marks I see are from where the spokes of the wheel have rubbed against the base. The dial is about 4 1/2 inches in diameter. The included key fits the clock, but it is not the original key. Measures about 7 1/2 inches wide and 7 1/2 inches tall. Weighs almost 10 pounds. It does have an 8 day power reserve - it runs and keeps excellent time and chimes the ship's bells at the hour and half-hour. You can find an example of this clock on Chelsea's website (currently sold out) there were only 750 of these made in 1980.
