Description: Hi, you are bidding on this vintage Bubblecut Barbie wearing a very hard to find variation of the Premier Togs dress #36. Barbie has a beautiful face! Her lips and edges of eyelashes had paint loss so were touched up for display but not sealed so it can be removed if desired. Her cheeks were lightly blushed. She has no green ear, no neck splits and no nose nips. She has a couple teensy piercing attempts at both ears that safe pearl earrings cover. Her hair is shiny, full and uncut with no missing hair plugs. Her original body is in good condition with touched up fingernail and toenail polish. She's marked, "Midge 1962 Barbie 1958 BY MATTEL, INC. PATENTED". The dress displays well but will need cleaning to remove age yellowing/discoloration on bodice and sleeves. This variation has no accent on the bodice but I added a stick-on faux rhinestone so it would better match her modern "glass" heels for display. The faux rhinestone can be easily peeled off. This variation has the deep rose pink colored skirt. The skirt is fully lined with a textured fabric as shown that some of the Premier dresses were made from. Dress closes in back with Premier's signature square metal snaps. Also included are a pair of modern clear "glass" shoes that are made from a rubber-type plastic. A shoe box and hanger are included.
