Description: Vintage Blue Onion Spice Jar Set of 12 w/ Wood Rack Japan This is a set of 12 vintage spice jars in a blue onion pattern. They are embossed with "Japan" on the bottom. Also included is a painted wooden spice rack. A very cute set, but there are a few issues. They are not super high quality made items. There are small areas of the decals that are blurred, though this is minor. Two had little "globs" of a material on them. I am certain this is original to the pieces (they came from the factory this way). One has some odd indents and defects on the top. One has a small crack at the bottom. I have shown photos of all of these issues. The spice rack is painted, but it is more off-white than the jars are. The jars are about 4 1/4" tall, except the salt, which measures about 1/8" shorter. Actually, they just don't seem to be uniform in size. One is missing the plastic stopper on the bottom. This really is a cute vintage set overall, just not perfect.
