Description: Blue Mountain Pottery of Collingwood, Ontario, Canada, is highly prized for its quality and craftsmanship. I purchased this delightful little deer fawn at the factory in 1965 and it has been in my possession since that date. I have always admired its graceful lines and exaggerated ears. The blue/green/brown drip glaze is flawless and has no blemishes, scuffs or marks. It is 4.5” x 4” and has an ear span of 4.5”. On the underside is a circle with the letters BMP on the center and the words “Made in Canada” around the rim of the circle. The evidence of my care of this sweet little deer is obvious in that even the bottom has absolutely no signs of having been moved around on any surface. It is truthfully just like new.
