Description: Vintage, real, black/white/sepia photo, taken between 1940 -1960 of the Santa Barbara County Courthouse, Santa Barbara, California. Unknown photographer. The photo is in good original condition, with some expected wear for it’s age, and measures approx. 5-5/8" inches x 3-9/16" inches. It took three years to build the Courthouse, and it was dedicated during the annual Santa Barbara Fiesta celebration in 1929. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, a City and State Landmark, as well as a National Historic Landmark. The building features clay tiled roof, white stucco walls and many different window shapes and balconies, arches, tile, wrought iron gates and window grilles. If you like California Spanish-Revival architecture, this is a place to visit.
