Description: This is a 16" x 16" wooden carved Chess board and table that stands about 15" tall. The tallest pieces like King, Queen and Llama (rook) are all about 2.5" tall. I have not seen many chess sets like this so I think it is hard to find it seems to be Aztec inspired or at least South American inspired. Item is in good used condition with normal age/storage/use wear. The playing board has scattered finish on it and I do not know it that is the way is was made. Wood pieces look hand carved and 4 have some chipping on them. One of them has indents on side of head(see pic). Base is in great shape with normal age wear.
