Description: Vintage 27” Rear Road Clincher Wheel with SUZUE Hub Up for sale is a nice late 1970’s vintage 27” rear road clincher wheel. Chromed steel rim measures 28 mm wide with an interior width of 21 mm, (applying the Sheldon Brown general guideline that the tire width should be between 1.45 and 2.00 the inner rim width would mean these rims are suitable to tires of between 30 mm and 42 mm in width). 1.37” x 24TPI English freewheel thread and 126 mm spacing compatible with standard 6/7-speed road systems. Bearings have been cleaned and greaed and the wheel professionally trued - ready for years of service. A few marks and signs of normal use but good used condition, please see pictures.
