Description: This is a vintage authentic U.S. Army enlisted, olive drab wool visor hat/cap with a badge from the early Vietnam War era. The new design and green color was first introduced in 1954 for the U.S. Army dress service uniform 1957/1958 dated QM tag remains inside under the headband. The two stiffener rings are in tact. The cap has a black leather visor and black leather chin strap with gold colored metal army side buttons. I am not sure of the size 7, there is no manufacturer labeling indicating such. The leather sweatband is partially unsewn. See manufacturer's label for date verification, etc. There is one moth hole on the left underside of the rim. Please see last photo. The clip to raise the cap is intact and functional. This is in overall excellent condition being that it is dated 1957/1958. It is a great addition to any collection of Vietnam War memorabilia. Please see photos for exact description and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Please see my other vintage headwear listings. You may find more interesting items!
