Description: This vintage bookend set features two adorable bulldogs painted in chalkware by RD & Co. The bookends are from 1944 and were manufactured in the United States during World War II. Winston Churchill was definitely the inspiration for these. They measure 5.25" in height . Well detailed! Excellent original paint. One left ear has a crack that was repaired. See last picture.
