It is the immediately previous issue item. NSWC is direct embroidered on hat. Adjustable, velcro back. Navy blue, brushed poly twill. Gives it a wool like feel. Six panel, structured hat, with 6 vent holes. Made in USA by Eagle Crest who held the contract for decades before it was awarded to The Corps, who is the current contract holder. Fully Berry Amendment compliant. This is a rare military collectible. Eagle Crest is a prime Government contractor. Not sure why Eagle Crest lost the contract after holding it for decades. but I'll bet that's a helluva story.
