Description: Strand of Trade Beads and 4 Metal Bangles found in Emmet Co Michigan by Robert Bennett in 2011. They were found near Harbor Springs. Emmet Co is the northernmost county in Michigan's Lower Peninsula. The longer strand of beads measures 13". The strand is strung with thin metal wire, and has broken apart. The short piece is 2 1/2", so this gives a total measurement of 15 1/2". Bennett has researched the Ottawa in this area and we include a photo of the find location and some detailed information and interesting history about the find.
