Description: THE MUTTS Original Promo Concert Poster 1980's Garage Rock The Replacements COLBY This is a super rare Letter-Press 14" x 22" vintage boxing style cardboard telephone pole promotional concert poster. This poster was for a show at The Lingerie, in Los Angeles, CA on Aug. 22nd, 1985?. The poster is in Very Good condition (please look closely at front and back pictures for detailed condition), staple holes in Approx. 8 different places as it was once attached to a telephone pole. Probably Printed by the Colby Poster Printing Co. Los Angeles, but does not have the union logo. Has been stored flat for 30+ years. Let me know if you have any questions before the end of auction. Flyers/Posters may have tape marks, pin holes, stains, and or wear and tear and many were folded at one time. Some are nearly perfect. Most flyers have been stored flat for 30+ years. ABOUT BOXING STYLE TELEPHONE POLE PROMOTIONAL POSTERS These are original vintage silk screened/letterpress 'Boxing Style' or 'Telephone Pole' style posters that were stapled to phone/power poles, walls & other outdoor locations to advertise a movie, record, concert, band, and other entertainment productions. And also business and politics, etc. Most of these posters did not last long. The city would eventually tear them down the next day or up to a week or so later after being posted. If they do survive, they usually have big rips, holes or other damage from being torn from the surface they where stapled to. Most of the time I would use a screw driver or a staple remover if I had one on me. These posters are about approx. 14-15" inches wide X 22" inches tall. (35.7 X 56 CM) Some vary a little in size. Printed on a thin or thick cardboard stock. Very durable and easy to display or frame. I will ship flat or rolled depending on shipping method.
