The binding is solid in all aspects with very good hinges. The title is in full gold gilt on the spine which has very light wear and the top and bottom and some slight bumping. The inner text is bright and clean and free of underlining or notation. There are a couple of pages with a slight crease as the top where a page was marked. Page 115 has a very small crescent shaped cut on the very bottom of the page and is pictured above. Over all this copy is in very good to near fine condition for being 146 years old. It has survived very well all these years. (FINAL MARKDOWN)
