Description: Southwestern Pueblo Clay Incense Burner Incienso de Santa Fe Casa New Mexico.The base measures approximately 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" - with top on - 2" tall. The burner appears to be made of clay. It represents an ancient pueblo adobe dwelling. Has an outside clay oven on one corner. Chimney hole in top for incense smoke to escape. Has a painted "wooden" ladder from the bottom to a 2nd level - comes out at a balcony with a door to the 2nd level inside. Has 5 windows total and an open door on the front. Details of where the stucco is off and the adobe shows through on two spots. Depicts brown circles to represent the timbers to hold the dwelling together."Incienso de Santa Fe" marked on the inside of the top surface of the base. Meant to burn cone incense.
