Description: Sony PS-LX520 turntable. This table has a rare and desirable combination of options; including direct drive, quartz lock, fully automatic operation and linear tracking. It was the top of Sony’s linear tracking models when I purchased it new back in (I believe) 1985. It had performed faithfully until a couple of weeks ago, when it failed to switch on. I tried to locate someone, anyone, to effect whatever repairs are needed but no one in Southern Oregon or Northern Cal. is either capable or interested in repairing it. Cosmetically, it could pass for nearly new. The dust cover has no damage or cracks present and the dust cover hinges operate correctly. The plinth has no scratches, nicks, chips etc. and still retains 100% of it’s original finish. The rubber feet are present and not damaged. About the only cosmetic detraction present are extremely fine scratches in the acrylic dust cover from dusting. Included is a Grado XF2 T4P cartridge with a Grado stylus.The 45 adapter is also present and included, as is the original owners manual. This listing is only for the turntable and items specifically listed. The other components and speakers pictured ARE NOT INLCUDED. US sale only.
