Insurance will NOT cover any damage to the contents of the bubble mailer when shipped this way. So it's cheaper to ship this way, but it comes with it's risks. The odds are the actual item itself will not get damaged, but of course I cannot guarantee this. I can only speak from previous experiences. So if you don't care about the item's original packaging getting damaged, the bubble mailer option should work fine. However, if you don't want damage to the item's ORIGINAL PACKAGING, then by all means..... choose to have the item shipped in another box for the higher shipping costs.
