I had originally planned on sending this newsletter out later this evening, but my excitement for my new TOPPS card drop is pouring out from underneath my fingernails as I type this (and it's painful!) so I'm just doing it NOW! Plus, I want to be able to share this card with as many people as I can before it comes out and then vanishes 70 hours later. So here we go. Throughout history, there have been many baseball players who are considered "two-way" players, meaning that they both HIT and PITCH very well. However, not one of those players was actually TWO PEOPLE. But in MY world, that just changed. Currently one of the top HOME-RUN HITTERS and PITCHERS, Shohei "Shotime" Ohtani recently revelaed to the media that he can't single-handedly take ALL of the credit for his tremendous feat, as half of the credit goes to his formerly unknown conjoined brother, Shogo. So I wanted to give Shogo some well-deserved attention by featuring BOTH of the Shotime Brothers on my official SHOHEI OHTANI TOPPS BASEBALL CARD inspired by Topps' own 1952 series of cards.
