Here is a very rare hand carved multi jointed 12 inch Pleasant Hill Academy Shaker Village Doll. “Aunt Sal” she is entitled. She was produced, I believe for the tourist trade in the early 1900’s. The Shakertown book will also be included. I purchased her from the original owner who has had her since the 1950’s. We are located close to the Shakertown region and have not seen one of these dolls before. She is wearing her original clothing with no condition issues. Her head is slightly Turnable as well. Shoulders lift up. A beautiful primitive doll.
