Description: Handmade. New. Trudi model. This cotton hat is Made in the USA of pre-washed and machine dried fabric in a smoke and pet free environment. The Trudi is perfect for people with short hair and a smaller head. This cap fits the head closely with no poof. The body of this small sized cap is pleated, and it fits close to the head. The front band is interfaced and top-stitched. The hat has elastic in the back (underneath) to fit a range of head sizes. Band measurement is 21.5 inches (without stretching the elastic). Band can stretch up to 31.5 inches.This is a one-size cap. Every Trudi hat is made from the same pattern and is the same size regardless of how the photographs appear. All seams are completely finished with no hanging threads. My personal philosophy is to upcycle, reuse, and use up materials. The caps I make are constructed from 100% cotton, and most of the fabric is either upcycled from men’s shirts or excess fabric from dressmaking, quilting, and theater costuming projects. All fabric is machine washed and dried and examined for wear before use. Some hats (or portions of hats) may be made of licensed fabric; however, the hats are not a licensed product.
