Description: Handmade. New. Lola model. This cotton hat is Made in the USA of pre-washed and machine dried fabric in a smoke and pet free environment. The Lola is perfect for people with shorter hair, and/or people who like a closer fitting cap. The body of this medium sized cap, while still bouffant style, is much less poufy than the Abigail. The cap is pleated, but there is less material, so it fits closer to the head.The front band is interfaced and top-stitched. The hat has elastic in the back (underneath) to fit a range of head sizes. Band measurement is 22.5 inches (without stretching the elastic). Band can stretch up to 32.5 inches.This is a one-size cap. Every Lola hat is made from the same pattern and is the same size regardless of how the photographs appear. All seams are completely finished with no hanging threads. My personal philosophy is to upcycle, reuse, and use up materials. The caps I make are constructed from 100% cotton, and most of the fabric is either upcycled from men’s shirts or excess fabric from dressmaking, quilting, and theater costuming projects. All fabric is machine washed and dried and examined for wear before use. Some hats (or portions of hats) may be made of licensed fabric; however, the hats are not a licensed product.
