Description: This is a clean New Old Stock example of the relatively rare Flamingo Rose color of Flexon handlebar tape from Hunt-Wilde, Schwinn part number 09 078, used on Schwinns for only a limited time in the mid- to late-1970s. The 1977 Schwinn catalog listing of the Schwinn Varsity Sport (see Photo 3) is one of the few images of it from that era.This is a 5-yard roll of 3/4" vinyl handlebar tape, enough to do one set of handlebars using half of the roll on each side. End plugs are not included. Please study the photos and ask any questions you need before ordering!This is not Violet.
