Description: Offered is this very rare variant of the Colt Pocket M1849. While the brass variant is relatively common, the iron variant is definitely not. So much so that in Robin Rapley’s Colt book it is noted “RARE MOLD”. Please see reference pictures on this listing (note that the book is not included / reference only). The mold is in good used but not abused condition. The ‘Colts Patent’ is clearly visible and this is a great example of a hard to find mold at an affordable price. This is the only example I have so please don’t miss it! I’ve carefully oiled the mold and wiped it off with a clean cloth. This lubricate the hinges and prevents rust & oxidization while protecting the mold. I ship worldwide; please let me know if your country isn’t listed as an option. Shipping includes tracking and a hard box. 95% of auctions ship within 1 day of payment received. I’ll automatically combine shipping & send a refund of excess additional shipping upon payment. Each additional item costs $1 to ship US (highest shipping first). I’ve listed a tremendous amount of new auctions which are but a small percentage of what I have coming up/need to list. Please check out those auctions (and watch for new ones!) which include Civil War era bullet molds, reloading tools, powder measures, cased revolver accessories, Colt tools, US & CS bullets, leather accoutrements, pre Civil War buttons, relic lots, buckles & plates, Civil War/Indian Wars rifle/carbine tools, leather belts and accoutrements from Civil War through Spanish American War, and all other manner of unusual, rare, and high end relics!
