Description: Buy now to get these two attractive full-size prop replicas of the Scalosian Weapon and Communicator as seen in “Wink of an Eye”, the 11th episode of the Star Trek original television series third season that first aired in 1968. These are not model kits; they are finished and painted pieces as shown in the pictures here and are ready for use or display. These replicas do NOT have electronics or functioning sound effects. These props were seen only once in the series during this episode and were used by the Scaolosian residents who took over the Enterprise. The weapon prop was later reused, with alterations, as the Ardanan guard weapon in the 21st episode, “The Cloud Minders”. Every effort was put forth to replicate the original screen-used props in as close detail as possible by carefully reviewing “Wink of an Eye” and photos of the original prop pieces, however, some artistic license was taken when modeling decisions were required.
