Full coverage but grip is exposed so you can pull your revolver out when needed. Holster is coated with an acrylic leather protector. Waterproofs and helps stop holster from stretching and loosening up. Thick Herman Oak 8 oz. - Quality top grain finished leather . Firm 1/8" thick leather, to protect revolver and hold it snug.
