Description: Dated 1927, this William Hentschel for Rookwood Pottery vase, shape number 614D, is 10.5" tall, has an outside rim opening of 3.25" and is almost 5.5" in diameter. Finished in a blue-green background colored glaze, it is decorated with large abstract long leaves on stems. In factory original condition, there are no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. As pictured, is the impressed Rookwood "RP" with flames factory mark, XXVII (date), 614D (shape) and Mr Hentschel's cipher. A very nice large Rookwood Mat Moderne vase to add to your collection.
